n Education Fund Alesd
The Eduction Fund Alesd was founded in february 1999 in Huizen, the Netherlands. The Education Fund is meant for young people who cannot continue their study or start a new study, because of financial problems of their household. Education Fund Alesd provides a scholarship for the duration of the study (usually 4 years), which is a supplemental to what the family of the student can contribute.

n How to apply for a scholarship
Education Fund Alesd does not support every student. You can apply for a scholarship if you can prove you meet the following criteria.

n The scholarship is meant for education in secondary school,
             university or learning a profession in Romania
n The student has to be qualified to begin the study (this means you
             have to pass the entrance examination)
n The scholarship is meant for costs of education, which are school
             taxes, examination fees, school materials and costs of housing
n There are no other possibilities for financial support (e.g.
             governmental scholarships)
n The Education Fund only supports one student in a family

For the schoolyear 2006/2007, you have to apply before June 1^st 2006

After receiving your application forms, the board of Education Fund Alesd will decide whether or not we will give you a scholarship. To apply is no guarantee you will be granted a scholarship: based on all application forms, the board will decide which applications are granted.
